Job Position: Research Associate

Job Summary: Plans, designs and conducts highly technical and complex research oncology and vascular biology target related projects independently and in consultation with supervisor. Analyzes research data and provides interpretations. Contributes to the development of research documentation for publication and/or prepares technical reports, papers and/or records.

Skills: In Mol. Biology: PCR and Cloning; in Cell biology: Cell propagation, storage, transfection and creation of stable lines; in Proteomics: PAGE, Western blotting, basic chromatography techniques.

Minimum Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate. No minimum experience is required.

Job Position: Research Scientist

Job Summary: Plans, designs and conducts specialized, technical and complex research projects in oncology and vascular biology target lab independently. Works under consultative direction from supervisor toward long-range goals and objectives. Exercises considerable latitude in determining research objectives and approaches. Should be able to lead one or more employees performing similar work. May oversee student, temporary and/or casual workers.

Skills: In Biology - should have substantial experience in Xenograft; in Cell biology -cell propagation, storage, transfection and creation of stable lines; in Proteomics - PAGE, Western blotting, basic chromatography techniques.

Minimum Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate. Minimum Experience: 5 Years
